Financial members gain access to the member-only areas of the website, including all issues of Interpreting Australia magazine, Interpretation in Focus articles, conference proceedings and members’ on-line forums. Members also receive regular electronic news bulletins, invitations to workshops, conferences and events, and discounted fees to attend events.
Membership types and fees are:
- Student $25
- Individual (earning less than $40,000 pa) $71
- Individual (earning more than $40,000 pa) $138
- Corporate (up to 4 employees named in the membership) $398
- Corporate (up to 8 employees named in the membership) $786
- Corporate (up to 12 employees named in the membership) $1154
- Corporate (up to 16 employees named in the membership) $1480
- Corporate (up to 20 employees named in the membership) $1787
Members who renew their membership on time are entitled to a discounted membership fee:
- Student $25
- Individual (earning less than $40,000 pa) $41
- Individual (earning more than $40,000 pa) $97
- Corporate (up to 4 employees named in the membership) $337
- Corporate (up to 8 employees named in the membership) $674
- Corporate (up to 12 employees named in the membership) $970
- Corporate (up to 16 employees named in the membership) $1276
- Corporate (up to 20 employees named in the membership) $1532
Fees are payable by 1 July each year. Members who renew their membership within 2 months of this date are entitled to a discounted membership rate.
Students (full-time or part-time) need to include a copy of their student card with their membership form.
New members joining after 1 April receive 15 months’ membership for the price of 12 months.
