SA State Chapter Event: ‘30 Words Workshop’ November 2011
Full-day workshop with Susan Cross
Due to overwhelming demand, a second workshop will now be held on Wednesday 23 November, 2011 (same place and times).
IA SA, with the generous support of Museums Australia and The Department of Tourism at Flinders University, offers those who are not able to make it to conference in Perth (or those who just can't get enough) the opportunity to attend a full day workshop with internationally reknowned interpretation trainer Susan Cross of UK-based Tell Tale Training.
We all know we have to keep interpretation short and interesting.
This workshop looks in detail at how we can use words and what makes them powerful, relevant and evocative.
It covers choosing appropriate words, setting the right tone, writing potent titles, and working with text structure.
Date: Wednesday 23 and Thursday 24 November 2011, 9:30 am - 4:30 pm
Place: Flinders in the City, 182 Victoria Square, Adelaide
