At the Frontier Conference Program
At the Frontier 2011 was a joint National Conference of Interpretation Australia and Museums Australia.
The conference aimed to encourage debate, speculation and open up a space of conjecture about the frontiers of museums, museology and interpretation. To be "at the Frontier" implies that we are venturing into an unknown space of possibility. This requires creativity, problem solving and exploration. Defining and describing various frontiers, questioning the very notion of a frontier, creating debate and sharing inspiring examples of contemporary practice are all aims of the conference. We look forward to your participation and welcome presentations from members and non-members alike.
